Grow & Glow (April–June)

Theme: Momentum, Creative Expansion, and Physical Rejuvenation

Intentions: Lean into your glow-up, refine your voice, and feed your joy.

  • Book:

    • Write 2–3 more chapters or complete a full first draft

    • Schedule solo writing retreat or weekend immersion

    • Begin visualizing the book cover or structure

  • Garden:

    • Plant outside by mid-May

    • Morning ritual: 10 mins in the garden with tea & intention

    • Host 1 small garden gathering or solo poetry reading

  • Fitness & Weight Loss:

    • Strength and cardio 4x/week (classes, walks, HIIT)

    • Celebrate milestone: 10–15 lbs with a photo or gift

    • Prep summer wardrobe that feels joyful + powerful

  • Art Practice:

    • Revisit past work and integrate new vision

    • Submit to 1–2 residencies, shows, or publishing opps

    • Artist day off each month: no admin, just creating

  • Work-Life Balance:

    • Hold 1 “no meeting” day/week for deep work or personal time

    • Reassess workload with staff or mentor

    • Plan a summer break or staycation in advance

Now to stop planning and do the damn thing. I understand healing takes time and energy and all the above will totally help.

This doesn’t include a husband family or friends. Some I am accomplishing and some don’t ask.
